The MV Daeyeng Family ( 1986 ): On the 30th of March 1986, this Korean ore- carrier dragged her anchors whilst being on a voyage from Brazil to Korea and went on to the reef near Robin Island. She was pretty much fully intact, that was until the great gale of 1994 which basically left her in half. Still, this is probably one of the most amazing wreck dives, not only of the location but also the sheer size! With the deck starting on only 15 meters allot of time can be spent exploring, yet it will take almost 4 dives just to cover the top part. The wreck is only reccommended for very experienced divers and only in perfect conditions as she is known to have a 7 knot current through her hull. Max Depth 25meters Boat dive |
