The SS South African Seafarer ( 1966 ): A South African freighter ( ex Clan Shaw, ex Steenbok ) went aground infront of the Greenpoint lighthouse in a Northwest gale on the 1st of July 1966. Like all the other wrecks close to shore, there's not really much of a ship's shape, but because of that she isn't really visited much by any divers. Thus leaving allot still to explore as salvaging hasn't taken it's toll yet. Max Depth 8meters Shore Dive |
