To book any tour with Pro Seafaris cc all clients must understand and sign the following Terms and Conditions of Booking and the Voluntary Release, Waiver and Assumption of Risk Forms set out below.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Pro Seafaris cc, hereinafter referred to as PS accepts bookings subject to agreement of the following conditions:
1 A booking will be accepted and confirmation sent when PS has received full payment, a completed booking form, a completed Voluntary Release. Waiver and Assumption of Risk Form. PS reserves the right to decline any booking.
2 The deposit will form part of total tour payment. The balance of the tour cost is due eight weeks prior to departure. PS reserves the right to treat any arrangements as being cancelled by the client if such payment is not received. PS is not obliged to issue or deliver tickets, vouchers of documents until full payment has been made.
3 PS has no intention of making substantial alterations or of cancelling any arrangements booked for a client, but in the event that this is deemed necessary prior to departure, and taking into account the interests of the client, PS will promptly send out notification of such changes or cancellation.
4 PS may cancel, suspend, alter or withdraw the booking at any time prior to the departure day when final payment of the tour cost is due, in which case the company's liability will be limited to refunding all monies received from the client.
5 At any time PS may cancel, suspend, alter or withdraw the booking in the event of force major, in which case the client will be refunded monies received by the client, less any deductions for the reasonable expenses incurred by the company.
6 Cancellation of a booking, or requests for amendments to bookings, must be notified in writing to PS. If PS agrees to alter or amend a booking after the booking has been confirmed an amendment fee of (South African Rand) R750.00 shall be levied per person per trip.
If PS agrees to cancel a booking after a booking has been confirmed in writing by PS, cancellation charges will be levied as follows: Prior to 56 days before departure, the full deposit will be forfeited, Between 55 and 29 days before departure 35% of tour cost or deposit whichever is greater, Between 28 and 14 days before departure 75% of tour cost, Between 13 days and the day of departure 100% of tour cost.
If a client fails to join the tour, joins after the tour departure, or leaves before the specified arrival date, no refund will be made. No refund will be made in respect of any part of the tour that is not used or undertaken. Clients are advised to arrange travel insurance on booking in order to provide cover for these charges in the event of cancellation or delay.
7 Before accepting a booking, PS reserves the right to alter published prices. After confirming a booking PS will only alter prices to take into accounts factors beyond it's control, such as currency fluctuations, surcharges or other transportation and accommodation costs.
8 It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are in possession of valid travel documents, including passports, visas, health certificates etc. PS cannot accept liability for incorrect documentation.
9 Tour bookings are only valid for the dates and routing's specified thereon unless otherwise specifically authorized.
10 Clients are advised that in many countries there is no free health service, and that local vehicle insurance is of limited value. Clients must obtain personal travel insurance and ensure that this is adequate for the full duration of the arrangements, particularly in respect to accident, medical, diving and repatriation expenses. If the client has dependents, insurance to cover these responsibilities is recommended.
11 The client agrees to comply with the laws and regulations of all the countries visited on the tour, and comply with all reasonable instructions of the tour leader relating to the safety and organization of the tour.
