Backpacker 2 Day Kruger National Park Tented Safari

Two days on Open Land Rover in Kruger National Park.
Package includes two meals per day. Ranger and tented accommodation in Park. Own sleeping bag - rest is supplied, participation required with camp duties.
 Option to upgrade to Bungalows.

 

The Breakaway experience

Day 1
Pick up at place of residence in Gauteng. Enjoy trip down to The Lowveld. Do a panoramic tour, visit waterfalls and Gods window. Lunch in Graskop. Sleep at a Lodge in The Lowveld. Optional to enjoy Shangana cultural evening festival with traditional dinner.

Day 2

Early wake up to depart to the world renowned Kruger National Park, home to the Big Five who have been living in this Savannah Biome long before the first European had set foot in Africa.
Transfer to Open Safari Land Rover before entering the Park. Brunch at one of many picnic spots in the park where you will prepare your own food under the supervision of your Ranger with his expert knowledge of the Park and Game that will ensure that you make the most of the experience. Snake along game drive roads to camp where you will share accommodation and prepare your own meal on an open campfire once again. It is leisure time around the campfire to enjoy nocturnal sounds.
 Optional Open Vehicle night safari.

Day 3

Early wake up. Break camp and depart to exit gate while enjoying the bush on game drive roads. Brunch at a picnic spot along the way. Transfer to bus and depart safely to your place
