Inhaca Island After your short flight from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, you are transferred to the island of Inhaca, which forms part of the Bazaruto Archipelago. This island is named after the chief who provided refuge for early explorers from Portugal whose ship was wrecked nearby. Inhaca has 250 species of birds and fits the profile of a tropical island paradise. Your chalet has its own en suite bathroom and patio veranda surrounded by coconut palms. Overhead fans provide gentle relief from the tropical heat.
