Bazaruto:

After your short flight from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, you are transferred to the island of Bazaruto, which forms part of the Bazaruto Archipelago. This island is the largest in the archipelago; however, it is only 30 kilometres long and 3 kilometres wide. This not to be missed dive destination is highly rated as one of the top 10 dive destinations of the world. Colourful coral reefs lie beneath the turquoise invitation of the Indian Ocean. There is a large range of migrant bird species whilst sand dunes and scrubland are the homes to various small antelope and reptiles. Bazaruto Island is the breeding ground of the sea turtle and therefore cooperation between the WWF and other conservation organisations has lead to this area being designated as a national park. Bazaruto has a tropical climate with high humidity that is conducive to warm evenings and sunshine days.

Marlin Lodge:

Marlin Lodge stands mighty on elevated stilts and yet blends into the tropical forest surrounding it. A platform deck runs around the lodge providing you with a beautiful view over the beach. After a full breakfast served in the restaurant the day is yours to enjoy scuba diving, relaxing by the pool or participating in the many activities offered such as catamaran sailing, windsurfing, ocean ski paddling or a dhow cruise. At night you can savour the atmosphere of Mozambique Bazaruto whilst sitting by the bonfire on the beach.

Bazaruto Lodge:

Bazaruto Lodge has luxurious a-framed chalets that overlook a small palm tree lined bay. Surrounded by the forested dunes Bazaruto Lodge welcomes you to relax and soak up the splendour of this Island Getaway. The historic Farol do Bazaruto lighthouse, which was built by the Portuguese in 1890 stands nearby. This paraffin-powered lighthouse guided sailors through the Mozambican channel and is currently being rehabilitated to its former glory by the owners of Bazaruto Lodge. The restaurant and swimming pool provide a peaceful place for pondering. Activities available are scuba diving, boat charters and excursions, Landrover hire and excursions, parasailing, water-skiing and canoeing.
